Anett Fritsch is the Countess Almaviva in ‘Le nozze di Figaro’ at the Gran Teatre del Liceu
Anett Fritsch will star as the Countess Almaviva in a lively production of Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro, November 7, 10, 12, 14, 16, 19 & 20 at Barcelona’s Gran Teatre del Liceu. She appears alongside Gyula Orendt as Count Almaviva, Mojca Erdmann and Elena Copons alternate as Susanna, Kyle Ketelsen sings Figaro, and Anna Bonitatibus and Gemma Coma-Alabert star as Cherubino on alternate dates. Conductor Joseph Pons leads from the pit for these performances.
The Countess is a signature role for Ms. Fritsch, whose recent portrayal at the Salzburg Festival was bestowed with critical acclaim.
“… Anett Fritsch, with a beguiling soprano voice, embodies the ideal Countess, with subtle intimately-soulful singing.”
