Anett Fritsch sings Fiordiligi in Mozart’s operatic comedy Così fan tutte at the Wiener Festwochen on June 2, 4 and 5 (tickets available here). This production, co-produced with the Teatro Real – Madrid and De Munt / La Monnaie in Brussels, reunites the original cast, including Paola Gardina as Fiordiligi’s sister Dorabella, Andreas Wolf as Guglielmo and Juan Francisco Gatell as Ferrando, their suitors, and Kerstin Avemo as Despina the ladies’ maid and Wiliam Shimell as Don Alfonso, the philosopher.

Ms. Fritsch received excellent reviews for her previous outings in this production: “Splendid singing is also delivered by Anett Fritsch, whose Fiordiligi is younger than most and the fearsome Come scoglio is impressively assured.” (MusicWeb International)

Academy Award Winning director Michael Haneke leads the cast in this critically-acclaimed production. The original presentation from Madrid is now available on DVD.
